The Path to Now: Meditation, Margins, and the Model of Progress
The journey is worth infinitely more than the destination; as it is along the inward path that one finds one's self and, with a pure mind and open heart, experiences the "Thunder of silence."
There are many ways to begin a journey. Mine did not start with a title, a degree, or a breakthrough insight. It began with silence—a silence that would eventually become my foundation, my teacher, and my most loyal companion.
A Life Shaped by Layers
I was not born into conventionality. I have not lived a 9-to-5 life for many, many years. My wife, Mina, and I have homeschooled our children from the beginning, taught Transcendental Meditation to seekers in Cambridge and beyond for more than a decade, and chosen a path that weaves Pure Consciousness into every moment. I am a Freemason, an Adjunct Professor, and, with my wife, a father to four wonderful souls. These roles and others inform me, but none define me.
What defines me is devotion—to growth, to integrity, to truth. And devotion, I have come to learn, requires inner stillness. It also requires immense resilience, especially when you carry identities that society has often marginalized or misread—intentionally or otherwise.
“Devotion, I have come to learn, requires inner stillness. It also requires immense resilience.”
The Inner Curriculum
Long before I enrolled in a Doctoral program, I was already studying—deeply. The sacred texts, the silence of meditation, the rituals of Rosicrucianism (and later Freemasonry), the ever-present legacy of my ancestors—all were classrooms. But formal study called again, and I answered. I earned my doctorate in Vedic Science from Maharishi International University, exploring mystical experiences among Freemasons and crafting what would become my framework for personal and professional growth: The Model for Perpetual Growth and Progress.
This model did not arise in abstraction. It came from necessity. It is for those of us who must build our inner world stronger than the outer resistance we face. For those dismissed not because their ideas lack value, but because their presence challenges inherited paradigms.
“The Model for Perpetual Growth and Progress is not a theory—it is a lifeline.”
What I Offer
I teach Transcendental Meditation not as a wellness fad, but as an ancient practice rooted in cosmic design. I write and speak not to impress, but to invite. My work—through the Model for Perpetual Growth and Progress, the Seven Layers of Manifestation and my Transcendental Brain consultancy—is to help others access the brilliance encoded in their Being.
You may come across reflections on law and consciousness. On artificial intelligence and ancient wisdom. On family and the future. All of it is connected. This is not content—it is continuity. A sacred thread through the chaos.
“This is not content—it is continuity. A sacred thread through the chaos.”
What You Can Expect
This space—this Substack—is for those who seek the signal beneath the noise. For scholars, seekers, spiritual rebels, and cultural creators. I will share essays, guided meditations, reflections on consciousness, and thought-provoking commentary on the evolving world we inhabit.
Some pieces will challenge. Others will comfort. All are offered with sincerity and spiritual rigor.
“This space is for those who seek the signal beneath the noise.”
The Path Ahead
Whether this is your first encounter with my work or a continued journey, thank you. I write and teach not to perform, but to remember—and to help others remember too. That beneath the identities, the systems, the distractions, there is Presence. And from that Presence, everything true flows. Yes. Even you!
Welcome to the path. Let’s keep moving.
